A grotesque triple murder shook Anandapur sub-division of Keonjhar district after a man, his wife and their minor daughter had been brutally killed on Sunday in Nialijharan village below Ghasipura police limits. The incident has triggered horror and outrage in the house.

In accordance with preliminary files, the victims had been allegedly attacked with sharp-edged weapons, main to their deaths on the set aside. The deceased were identified as Jitendra Soren, his wife Malati Soren and their minor daughter Mami Soren.

“We suspect that the alleged killing is a fallout of a land dispute between the deceased man and his household. Preliminary investigation suggests that some of his household are enraged concerning the incident. More files is also published because the probe progresses,” the senior cop added.
