CBSE Cancels Class X Exams In Middle East, Postpones Class XII Exams Amid Israel-Iran Conflict

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Schooling (CBSE) on Thursday issued Circular-3 concerning the Class X and XII Board Exams in the Center East areas. 

In line with the round, the full assessments for Class X scheduled from March 7 to March 11 had been cancelled. The assessments, which had been previously postponed to March 3, March 5, and March 6 has also been cancelled. The mode of declaration of results for Class X candidates in the Center East will be notified later. 

“All exams scheduled from 07.03.2026 to 11.03.2026 are cancelled. Exams previously postponed to 02.03.2026, 05.03.2026, and 06.03.2026 are also cancelled. The mode of declaration of results for Class X candidates in the Middle East will be notified later,” the round talked about. 

The exam scheduled for Class XII on March 7 has been postponed. The Board will evaluation the realm on March 7 and affords instructions concerning assessments scheduled from March 9 onwards, with the revised dates for the exam to be announced later. 

“Exam scheduled on 07 March 2026 is postponed. Revised dates will be announced later. The Board will review the situation on 07 March 2026 and give instructions regarding exams scheduled from 09 March 2026 onwards,” the round neatly-known. 

College students are advised to quit in shut contact with their colleges and apply decent bulletins fastidiously. 

This comes as the US and Israel performed airstrikes one day of a few Iranian cities on February 28, targeting defense pressure declare centres, air-defence programs, missile sites, and key regime infrastructure. These strikes resulted in the death of Iranian Supreme Chief Ayatollah Khamenei and four senior defense pressure and security officials, with massive explosions reported in Tehran and assorted principal cities.
