India’s HDFC Bank part-time chairman resigns, citing differences in ‘values and ethics’

March 18 (Reuters) – HDFC Bank said leisurely on ‌Wednesday its phase-time ‌Chairman Atanu Chakraborty has resigned ​citing variations with the lender over his “values and ethics”.

“Certain happenings and practices ‌within the ⁠bank, that I have observed over ⁠last two years, are not in congruence with ​my personal ​Values ​and Ethics,” ‌Chakraborty said in his resignation letter, without elaborating.

India’s central financial institution has well-liked the appointment of Keki ‌Mistry as an ​intervening time phase-time ​chairman, ​efficient March 19, ‌for 3 months, HDFC ​Bank ​said in a observation to Indian inventory ​exchanges.
