The Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday apprehended an Assistant Director of the Odisha Renewable Energy Pattern Agency (OREDA) while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a non-public agency for facilitating the liberate of pending bills.
The accused, is called Simadri Srikanta Rao, Assistant Director (Technical), OREDA, was once caught red-handed while taking the bribe for signing a performance certificate required for the liberate of the balance price related to the set up of a 60 KW portray voltaic energy plant on the Water and Land Administration Institute (WALMI) in Cuttack.
