Fresh Delhi: Air India Chief Govt Officer (CEO) Campbell Wilson has resigned, sources said on Tuesday. Campbell Wilson became appointed on a five-three hundred and sixty five days contract. His tenure as Chief Govt Officer (CEO) of Air India is scheduled to halt in July 2027.
Campbell Wilson became appointed as Chief Govt Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of Air India in 2022. With over 30 years of rich skills within the aviation commercial, he has worked across each and each fleshy-service and low-trace carriers.
Sooner than joining Air India, Wilson served as CEO of Bolt, the wholly-owned low-trace subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA).
He started his profession with SIA in 1996 as a Management Trainee in Fresh Zealand. He subsequently held various roles with SIA in Canada, Hong Kong, and Japan, before returning to Singapore in 2011 because the founding CEO of Bolt, a region he held until 2016.
He then served as Senior Vice President – Sales & Advertising and marketing at SIA, the place he oversaw Pricing, Distribution, eCommerce, Merchandising, Trace & Advertising and marketing, World Sales, and the airline’s foreign places offices. In April 2020, he returned for a 2nd stint as CEO of Bolt.Wilson holds a Master of Commerce (First Class Honours) in Commerce Administration from the University of Canterbury, Fresh Zealand.
