The United Arab Emirates came below assault on Monday after Iran allegedly launched drones and missiles toward the Gulf nation, marking the first major reported violation of the ceasefire announced and later prolonged on April 8.

UAE authorities confirmed a couple of aerial threats, with the country’s international ministry and defence ministry issuing a series of emergency statements as air defence systems had been activated.

Cellular emergency alerts had been reportedly despatched to residents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, warning folk to reside indoors and narrate legit directions.

Officers also said a fireplace incident used to be reported at the Fujairah oil refinery following the assaults, even though the extent of the distress remains unclear.
