The poem, titled ‘Aj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa’, translates to ‘I calm yearn to return to my village’. He says that there’s no match for the ‘pind vali zindagi’ (village existence), and closes the verse with a line about missing his mom.
Reacting to the video, one fan wrote, “So provocative!” One other acknowledged, “This introduced tears to my eyes.” Many wrote comments that they disregarded Dharmendra, calling him a story.
Dharmendra’s loss of life
