HUBBALLI: In a suspected case of honour killing, a 20-year-veteran pregnant girl used to be allegedly murdered by her family members in Inam Veerapur village of Karnataka’s Dharwad district on Sunday for marrying a Dalit childhood.
The girl’s father and household individuals also allegedly assaulted individuals of the Dalit childhood’s household, spar-king protests. Manya Patil, who used to be seven months pregnant, had married Vivekanand Doddamani ea-rlier this year despite str-ong objections from her household. Police mentioned Manya’s father, Prakashgouda, along with family members, allegedly assaulted her with pipes, inflicting extreme head accidents. Police arrested her father and two other family members.
