In a sharp response to the strike on its largest bridge in Karaj, Iran vowed it will be “rebuilt stronger”, warning The United States’s standing on this planet “will by no system get better”, Al Jazeera reports.

Iran’s iconic B1 bridge, the highest in the entire Middle East, was cut in half after it was struck by joint US-Israeli strikes. The strike followed US President Donald Trump’s warning that Tehran will be pushed “back to the Stone Age” if it refuses to engage in peace talks.

In a put up on Truth Social, the US President shared a video, exhibiting explosion at the gap and warned that “the greatest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, by no system to be aged again”.

He added Tehran must “make a deal before it is too late and there is nothing left of what still could become a great country.”

In step with the Al Jazeera file, citing native officials, no longer lower than eight other folks had been killed and 95 had been injured in the strikes on the bridge. Karaj’s B1 bridge, called the masterpiece engineering, linked the city to the capital, Tehran. According to media reports, the structure was still under construction and was part of a key highway project.

The 136-metre-high bridge was partially destroyed in the attack, reported the Iranian state media.

Medical Facility Attacked

Iranian authorities also claimed a medical facility in Tehran was attacked. The health ministry released images, showing significant damage to a building identified as the Pasteur Institute of Iran, a century-old research centre.

The latest strikes come as war in West Asia continues to escalate, with Iran targeting multiple regions across the Gulf, and the United States ramping up pressure on Tehran.
