ArcelorMittal has announced three contemporary renewable energy tasks in India totaling 1GW of nominal solar and wind ability. Upon completion the tasks will double ArcelorMittal’s renewable energy ability in India to 2GW and develop its total global renewable energy ability to a pair of.3GW, the firm acknowledged.
The three tasks are: a 36MW solar mission in Amaravati, Maharashtra; 400MW solar + 500MWh battery energy storage mission in Bikaner, Rajasthan; and a 250MW wind + 300MW solar + 300MWh integrated battery storage in Bachau, Gujarat.
