Cyclone Ditwah: Deputy CM Udhayanidhi reviews emergency measures; 10 more NDRF teams to be deployed across T.N.

Reservoir ranges in Tamil Nadu stood at 85% as on November 29 night, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin acknowledged while inspecting the Elevated Chennai Corporation’s (GCC) Integrated Order and Adjust Centre (ICCC) in the wee hours on Sunday (November 30, 2025).

10 additional NDRF teams

Earlier on Saturday (November 29) evening, Udhayanidhi Stalin visited the Bid Emergency Operations Centre in Chennai and took stock of the topic and preparedness in various districts.

He acknowledged, preparations rep been made to deploy 10 extra teams of the NDRF in various parts of the Bid apart from the 12 NDRF teams deployed across Tamil Nadu.

“As of now [Saturday evening], vegetation in about 20,000 hectare are underneath water. Once the water drains, the atomize would be ascertained.”

Minister K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran and senior officers accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister.
