Original Delhi: India and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday strongly reiterated their condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, at the side of execrable-border terrorism, in some unspecified time in the future of the third assembly of the India-Saudi Arabia Safety Working Neighborhood held in Riyadh.
The assembly used to be held under the Political, Consular and Safety Cooperation Committee of the India–Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council. It used to be co-chaired by Dr Vinod Bhadal, Joint Secretary (Counter Terrorism), Ministry of Exterior Affairs, and Dr Ahmed Al Issa, Director Overall of Factual Affairs and World Cooperation, Ministry of Within, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In step with the Ministry of Exterior Affairs, all facets strongly condemned the “dastardly terrorist attack on harmless civilians” in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025, as successfully as the awe incident advance the Crimson Citadel in Original Delhi on November 10, 2025.
“The 2 facets reiterated their unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, at the side of execrable-border terrorism,” the MEA acknowledged in a assertion.
The assembly noticed a whole evaluation of ongoing bilateral security cooperation, with both worldwide locations discussing threats posed by terrorist teams at the world level and interior their respective regions.
As per the MEA, India and Saudi Arabia exchanged views on strengthening cooperation to address fresh and rising counterterrorism challenges. These integrated countering extremism and radicalisation, combating the financing of terrorism, preventing the misuse of technology for terrorist functions, and addressing the nexus between transnational organised crime and terrorism.
The 2 facets also deliberated on measures to further enhance bilateral apt and judicial cooperation, in conjunction with enhanced coordination between law enforcement companies.
The Safety Working Neighborhood assembly reflects the increasing strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the area of security and counterterrorism, amid evolving regional and world threats.
The subsequent assembly of the Safety Working Neighborhood will likely be held at a mutually helpful time.
