The fifth gram sabha for the proposed mega steel plant in Keonjhar district was reportedly performed peacefully on Wednesday at Angikla village below Chemana panchayat in Patna block.
The assembly targeted on gathering public knowing relating to land acquisition for the venture.
As allotment of the proposal, 220.875 acres of deepest land from Angikla village are to be received, forming a half of the full 377.77 acres spread across 801 plots belonging to 151 villagers, reported The Fresh Indian Order.
The six-million-tonne capability steel plant is planned as a joint endeavor between JSW and POSCO, with an estimated investment of round Rs 40,000 crore.
Villagers Inquire of of Compensation, Facilities
