Porsche Sales in 2025: German sports automotive maker Porsche delivered 10 per cent fewer vehicles globally in 2025, becoming a member of fellow Volkswagen subsidiary Audi and Mercedes in reporting weaker figures amid a fiercely aggressive market in China.
The firm delivered 279,449 vehicles closing year, compared with 310,718 objects in 2024, it acknowledged on Friday.
Porsche sales slumped in China by 26 per cent hit by tough market instances in the lush segment, as neatly as intense opponents for completely electric units, the carmaker acknowledged in an announcement.
In Germany and the rest of Europe, sales fell by 16 per cent and 13 per cent, respectively, it added.
Porsche attributed the decline in Europe to offer gaps for the 718 and Macan combustion engine units attributable to EU cybersecurity regulations.
The fresh regulations intended the ICE model of Macan used to be now not on hand anymore in 2025, making a elevated baseline in 2024, acknowledged Matthias Schmidt, European autos market analyst at Schmidt Automobile.
Porsche outperformed Mercedes and Audi in the North American market, where its sales remained flat compared with a 12 per cent decline for each and each German peers in 2025.
“Porsche likely benefitted from a pull-forward of inventory registrations across the US to mitigate against tariffs,” acknowledged Schmidt.
Love Audi, Porsche has no US manufacturing space, making it exposed to US tariffs, which had been expected to cost the firm roughly 700 million euros in 2025.
Porsche acknowledged 22.2 per cent of worldwide deliveries in 2025 had been completely electric units while 12.1 per cent had been whisk-in hybrids.
“This puts the global share of fully electric vehicles at the upper end of the stated target range of 20 per cent to 22 per cent for 2025,” it acknowledged.
