Mumbai: Shiv Sena, with its 29 corporators, and both NCP factions, with their four corporators in total, registered themselves as one crew in BMC on Tuesday, a day earlier than the mayoral polls. NCP obtained three seats in the BMC polls.
NCP (SP)’s lone winner, Ajit Raorane, had earlier extended make stronger to Sena.Registering as one bloc entitles it to at least one extra nominated corporator and an additional seat in the standing committee.
