Union Minister of Coal G. Kishan Reddy has unveiled a statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in Vijayawada because the Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP) venerated 60 years of the Integral Humanism philosophy, first articulated at the Jana Sangh’s ancient national convention held in the city in 1965.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Reddy described Vijayawada as a “sacred online page” in India’s ideological ancient previous and acknowledged that Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Integral Humanism provided a civilisational different to Western ideologies, equivalent to capitalism and communism. He acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance throughout the last decade reflected these principles in action, offering lasting solutions to national challenges.
The programme coincided with the initiating anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, noticed as Parakram Diwas. Mr. Reddy acknowledged it used to be a topic of delight to revisit the very venue where Integral Humanism used to be presented as an even socio-political doctrine six a long time ago.
Speaking earlier, Mr. Madhav recalled the evolution of Integral Humanism from discussions within the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to its formal adoption by the Jana Sangh. He acknowledged the Vajpayee and Modi governments had labored to translate Deendayal Upadhyaya’s ideals into protection and governance.
Neatly-known writer and student Mudigonda Shivaprasad shared deepest recollections of Deendayal Upadhyaya, highlighting his simplicity, compassion, and ideological clarity.
A commemorative memento marking the 12th Jana Sangh National Conference of 1965 and a diversified 60th anniversary version of Jagruti journal were also unveiled. Several Union and Enlighten Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and senior BJP leaders attended the match.
