The Reserve Bank on Friday fixed the Systems and Skill Advances (WMA) limit for the Delhi authorities at Rs 890 crore to again it meet any non permanent mismatch in receipts and funds.
Earlier this week, the central bank entered into an agreement with the Executive of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) to habits the city authorities’s long-established banking industry, efficient from Friday, January 09, 2026.
“The WMA limit for GNCTD has been fixed at Rs 890 crore, effective from January 09, 2026,” the Reserve Bank of India acknowledged in an announcement.
Accordingly, the revised combination WMA limit for Order Governments / Union Territories will seemingly be Rs 61,008 crore as against the present limit of Rs 60,118 crore, it added.
WMA are non permanent advances given by the RBI to the central, declare governments and Union Territories to tide over any mismatch in receipts and funds.
