SRIKAKULAM
The Andhra Pradesh authorities will employ about ₹30 crore on the renovation of canals and historical tanks in Srikakulam district beneath the Jaladhara programme, officials said on Tuesday.
Srikakulam Collector Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar, along with officials from the irrigation, rural trend and panchayat raj departments, were visiting Kanchili, Sompeta, Ichchapuram and other areas to assess tanks at the side of Sunkili Sagaram and Govinda Sagaram.
