US Cancelled Delegation Visit
Soon after Araghchi’s departure, US President Donald Trump said he had cancelled a planned trip by envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Islamabad, where they were expected to meet Iranian representatives.
“I just cancelled the trip of my representatives going is Islamabad, Pakistan, to meet with the Iranians. Too much time wasted on traveling, too much work!
